Bluenoise Studios Original Score to be Used in Program Broadcast Over PBS Stations
Frederick, MD, June 24, 2005 - Frederick, MD-based Enforme Interactive announced today that work done
by its audio-production division has earned a coveted Silver Telly award. The Telly, granted for a soundtrack
composed, produced and recorded by Bluenoise Studio personnel, will be used in a television show slated for
broadcast nationwide on PBS stations. Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards honor outstanding work in video and
film productions. The Silver Telly, which signifies work that meets or exceeds a standard of excellence, is
awarded to fewer than 10% of all entries each year.
"We're thrilled to have our work receive such a prestigious honor," said Eric Delente, founder of Bluenoise
Studios. "Telly winners are carefully chosen by a panel of award-winning industry professionals from literally
thousands of entries. It's an honor to be recognized in a competition that showcases the best work of the
most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, and corporate video departments
in the world."
Bluenoise's work consisted of composing, performing and recording an entire soundtrack for a television
documentary honoring the life of a New York firefighter who died during the attack on the World Trade Center.
The program, For the Love of Their Brother, which was produced by 3 Roads Communications, tells the story of
Stephen Siller, who was off duty when the twin towers were attacked. He grabbed his gear and ran through the
block Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to get to the World Trade Center where he subsequently died. His story has become
legend in New York newsrooms and firehouses.
"This is a project we were thrilled to be involved with," said Delente. "Typically, our work involves recording
and post-production. When we were presented with the opportunity to make a bigger contribution to this film, we
accepted it immediately. We have an unusually talented and diverse staff that really rose to the occasion by
creating the entire soundtrack from initial concept to finished product. Earning a Telly for our work makes
it even more rewarding. We're pleased that we could be involved in the telling of such a moving story."
