Enforme Interactive Receives Three Awards in International Competition
Firm's Work is Also nominated for a 2006 WEBBY Award

Frederick, MD, April 17, 2006 Frederick, MD-based Enforme Interactive, a full-service Internet firm, announced today that it has received three 2006 Summit Creative awards along with a nomination for a 2006 WEBBY award. The awards and nomination were conferred for a wide-ranging body of web-design work comprised of sites for a regional performing-arts center, an international scientific association and a medical organization that helps family members deal with the stress of caring for lived ones with cancer.

The Summit Creative Award competition, established in 1994, has become one of the best-known international competitions for creative firms with billings under $20 million. The competition receives thousands of entries annually from around the globe; winners are chosen by panels of industry leaders in the fields of marketing, advertising and multimedia. Enforme received a silver award in the Community category for mid-Maryland's Weinberg Center for the Performing Arts, a bronze for Cancer Caregivers, an interactive site designed with HealthMark Multimedia and funded by the National Cancer Institute, and a bronze in the Non-Profit Government Website category for the New York Academy of Sciences website. "These awards reflect the diversity of talent in our development teams," said Enforme President Carrie Delente. "Our sites are successful not only because of their graphic design, but also because of how well they serve the target user base. Our design philosophy, for these award-winning sites and for all of our work, involves paying attention to information architecture, usability principles and maintenance requirements. We have incredibly talented cross-functional teams that work together not only to create good-looking web media, but sites that deliver a satisfying user experience. It is nice to see our hard work recognized the Summit Creative judges."

At the same time, Enforme was also nominated for a 2006 WEBBY award for its design of the New York Academy of Sciences website. Called the "Oscars of the Internet," by the New York Times, WEBBYs are awarded to a select few entries each year that are carefully chosen from thousands of submissions. The awards represent the collective judgment of the Academy, a 500-member body of leading web experts, business figures and visionaries. Said Delente, "we won a WEBBY award last year, and we are very pleased that the Academy has again recognized our talented team's hard work by nominating us for another WEBBY this year." The winners of the 2006 WEBBY Awards will be announced later this year.
